These courses are perfect if you prefer a more intensive learning experience or have only a few weeks before a trip abroad. Our 5-week courses are 20 hour courses, with classes two evenings per week so you can really immerse yourself in the language in your spare time. This course is a great way to build confidence before using the language more frequently at work, socially or when jetting off on holiday, a gap year or business trip.

Our courses in the USA & Canada are all group courses which acknowledge individual needs. Their content is academically sound and will promote and lead towards long term aims with the language. The teaching, given by native speaker teachers, is communicative, intimate and fun, and will engage and stretch the students. Although there is an emphasis on speaking and listening, grammar is included and taught in context. All courses are monitored throughout, and feedback is gathered and acted upon by Cactus.

All prices include course books. Most courses listed below are 10 week courses, with one lesson of two hours on one evening per week. Class size is usually max 12, with an average of 8 students.
